Speakers:  

Anthony J. Carter
(M.A.B.S., Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando campus) is author of
“On Being Black and Reformed”; "Hesed: A Word Better than Life"; and co-
author and editor of the forthcoming "Experiencing the Truth: Bringing
the Reformation to the African-American Church." He is an organizing
member of the Council of Reforming Churches. Anthony is assistant pastor
for preaching and teaching at Southwest Christian Fellowship, Atlanta,
GA. He is a frequent conference speaker and guest lecturer. He has spoken
in conferences and churches from Canada to the Caribbean.
Anthony and his wife Adriane have five children.




Thabiti Anyabwile
is the full-time husband to a loving wife, Kristie, and father to two
adorable daughters, Afiya and Eden, and one son, Titus. He previously
worked as an assistant pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, and is now
the senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman, Cayman
Islands. Thabiti holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in psychology from North
Carolina State University. He is the author of two books, "The Faithful
Preacher: Recapturing the Vision of Three Pioneering African American
Pastors" (Crossway, 2007) and "The Decline of African-American
Theology: From Biblical Faithfulness to Cultural Captivity."




Sherard Burns
(M.A.B.S., Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando campus) is the
assistant pastor for education and discipleship at Glendale Missionary
Baptist Church, Miami, FL. He served as the founding Pastor for Preaching
at the All Nations Christian Fellowship, Brooklyn Center, MN. Sherard
was formerly the Associate Pastor of Evangelism, Discipleship, and
Assimilation at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Minneapolis, MN. He is
contributor to the book “A God Entranced Vision of All Things, The Legacy
of Jonathan Edwards”, edited by John Piper and Justin Taylor. Over the
past thirteen years he has served as an Assistant Pastor, Pastor and
Church Planter. Sherard and his wife Tamika have three children.
